Lena Evelyn Caldwell

View Photo Tribute Lena Evelyn Caldwell, aged 92, a life-long resident of Solon Township, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 20, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charlie, her son, Donald, daughter, Marian Ostrander; sisters, Marjorie Gustafson and Marie McAnally. Surviving are her son, Walt (Sandy) Caldwell; grandchildren, Marie (Tom) Shick, Bruce Caldwell, Deb (Duane) McIntyre, Janet (Mike) Weingate, Steve Caldwell, Annette Caldwell-Knapp, Kim (Jack) Lietz, Rick (Barb) Caldwell and Kevin (Monica) Caldwell; 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-granddaughters; brothers, Lawrence Reichelt, Durward (Edna) Reichelt, Gordon (Ilene) Reichelt; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Lena’s life will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Ensley Baptist Church with her nephew, Pastor Duaine Reichelt and Rev. James Ankerberg officiating. Interment in Crandall Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to Ensley Baptist Church or Hospice of Michigan.
