Leatrice Joy Flachs

Leatrice J. Flachs, 89 of Sand Lake, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Flachs was born March 28, 1929 in Blanchard, MI the daughter of Carl and Estella (Delamater) Hoover. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning, hunting and fishing. She was a wonderful, caring and loving mother. Surviving are her children, Sandra Patin, Daniel (Kathleen) Flachs, Kristi (Carl) Haywood, Steven (Mary) Flachs, Gary (Debra) Flachs, Jane (Paul) Ringler, Kelly Slagel; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard in 2011; two sons-in-law, Robert Patin and David Slagel; five brothers and two sisters. A private family memorial mass will be held at Mary Queen of Apostles, Sand Lake. Rev. Fr. Lam Le celebrant. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, Remus.
