Lavern Kilts

View Photo Tribute LaVern Kilts, 70 of Sand Lake, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at his home. LaVern was born June 26, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Howard and Emma (Fisk) Kilts. He was a wonderful husband and father, and had a great sense of humor, even to the end. Surviving are his wife Lois (Eyer); 3 children, Jane & Dave McKie of Cedar Springs, Jeffrey & Lori Kilts of Holton, David Norton of Cedar Springs; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Walter Kilts of Cedar Springs; 2 sisters, Barbara & Jack Wainright of Sand Lake, Maxine & Russell Powell of Cedar Springs; sister-in-law, Betty Kilts of Newaygo; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Norman. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Saturday 11:00 am. Pastor Dan Barton officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
