Larry D. Hayman, 34 of Howard City, died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at home. Larry was born March 19, 1981 in Lakeview, MI the son of Larry and Susan (Fisk) Hayman. He was a survivor having battled cancer, his son, family and friends were very important to him. He had been a volunteer with the Amble Fire Department. He was free spirited, kind hearted, loving and caring and had a heart of gold. He would help anyone who needed help. He enjoyed mud running, hunting, fishing, and rodeos, driving his semi-truck and Big Red. Larry did more in his 34 years than most do in a lifetime. Surviving are his son, Kody Hayman; mother, Susan Hayman; sister, Billie (Guy) McCurry; step father, Mike Smith (Old Man); step sisters, Emily (Terry) Frayer, Crystal Detzler, April Gordon; grandparents, Barbara Kyser, Wilma (Larry) Knight; nieces and nephews, Ray, Alydia, Jazlynn, Harliegh, Michael, Annakiya, Lexi; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Hayman in 1995; grandfathers, Jack Fisk and Wayne Kyser; best friend, Adam Petruska. The family will greet friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The funeral will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at Solon Center Wesleyan Church, 15671 Algoma Avenue, Cedar Springs. Interment Solon Township Cemetery.
