Larry W. Crater

Larry W. Crater age 72 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 22, 2026 at his sister’s home under the care of his family and hospice. He was born January 18, 1954 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Robert and Dorothy (VanOss) Crater. He graduated from Lee High School where he won the John Phillip Sousa award in band. He was a very talented artist and enjoyed golfing. He retired from Grand Rapids Public Schools as the Operations Supply Head Custodian. He attended Magnify Church – Northview Campus. Surviving are two sisters, Elaine Loveless and Sally VanDuine; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phil Crater. A private family celebration of life will be held.
