Kurt Allen Van Os

View Photo Tribute Kurt Allen Van Os age 22 of Howard City, died suddenly Thursday, January 25, 2007 while playing basketball. Kurt was born July 27, 1984 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Donald and Diane Van Os. He was a 2003 graduate of Creative Technologies Academy and was presently a student at Grand Rapids Community College. Kurt was a kind, caring and loyal friend. He was a very happy person and had a great sense of humor. Basketball and computers were his passion. Kurt was a wonderful brother and son. Surviving are his parents, Donald & Diane Van Os of Howard City; sister, Allison Van Os of Grand Rapids; grandfather, Dale Van Os; grandmother, Nel Peters; uncle, Bob Van Os; aunts, Suellen Galas, Natalie Visner; several cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nickolas; grandmother, Arlene Van Os; and grandfather, James Peters. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The funeral service will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at Grace Community Church, 9920 Reed Road, Howard City. Pastor Joel Cooper officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of donors choice or to the family. He left footprints on our hearts and we will never be the same.
