Kristine "Kris" Heiss

Kristine A. Heiss age 68 of Sand Lake, died Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital. She was born May 7, 1957 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Walter and Patricia (Funk) Heiss. Kris graduated from Cedar Springs High School in 1975. She loved to go to the movies and spend time at the beach. Kris enjoyed going on car rides especially during fall color tours. She cherished the time she spent with her family. Kris will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Sara Ruiz; grandchildren, Emily, Allie, Julia; siblings, Tom, Penny; many nieces and nephews. Kris was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dennis, Beth; and niece, Julie. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
