Kevin Christopher Courtney

Kevin Christopher Courtney age 43 of Wyoming, MI passed into the arms of our Lord Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Trillium Woods. Kevin was born August 14, 1976 the son of Patrick and Judith (Ives) Courtney. Kevin loved playing sports as a youngster and especially loved watching the Lions, Tigers and college sports. He attended Central Michigan University. Kevin did a lot of traveling for Direct/Dish TV with Miami being one of his favorite cities. He is survived by his daughter, Sophia Courtney; mother, Judi (John) Ives Johnson; father, Patrick (LouAnne) Courtney; brother, Shaun P. (Allison) Courtney; nieces, Emily (Jordan) Enbody, Caitlyn, Alexis and Haley Courtney; great niece, Avery Enbody; grandmother, Virginia Courtney; uncles and aunts, Carol (Tony) Fraser, Fred (Diane) Ives, Sue (Mike) Kowalczyk and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Courtney; grandparents, Floyd and Grace Ives. The family would like to thank Kevin’s friends for all the love and support. The family will greet friends Friday, September 20 from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the service will be held Saturday 11 am. Pastor Ben Peters officiating. Interment Sand Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis or American Diabetes Associations.
