Kenneth W. Zank

Kenneth William Zank age 77 of Cedar Springs died Friday, November 24, 2023 at his home. He was born in Algoma Twp. on August 18, 1946 the son of Karl and Frances (Montgomery) Zank. Ken was a graduate from the Cedar Springs High School class of 1964. He was Vice President of Retirement Services for Union Bank for many years. But his favorite job was being a part time farmer with beef cows and baling hay. He loved spending time with his grandkids and driving his tractor. Surviving are his children, Kathryn Zank, Kevin (Amanda) Zank, Kerri (David) Reed; grandchildren, Hannah Reed, Zach Reed, Meredith Zank; brother, Durwood (Norma) Zank; sister, Winona Watson; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Robert) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn; brother, Fred Zank; brother-in-law, Robert Watson; sister-in-law, Lois (Bill) Bates. The family will greet friends 10:00 am Thursday at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the funeral will follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Chuck Smith, officiating, Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs.
