Kenneth M. Briles

Kenneth M. Briles 60 of Howard City, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at his home. Ken was born December 2, 1953 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Wayne and Sheldrick (Carter) Briles. He loved his country, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Dorr American Legion. Ken enjoyed camping and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Surviving are his wife, Irene whom he married on April 20, 1974; children, RoxAnne (Joe) Heasley, Bryson (Lisa) Briles; grandchildren, Mista, Jerzy, Kaleb, Meisha, Cody, and Megan; great grandchildren, LaTaya and Lilliana; eight brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs and Saturday from 12 noon until time of service at 1:00 pm. Mr. Robert Shaffer officiating.
