Keith A. Reynolds

Keith A. Reynolds age 87, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 21, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion to family. He was born April 30, 1939 in Crystal, Michigan, the son of Howard and Mable (Snyder) Reynolds. He graduated from Ithaca High School in 1957. He worked at Fridgidaire for 36 years before retiring.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Harder; brothers, Donald, Charles, Raymond, and Duane Reynolds; his first wife, Emma Merrifield Reynolds; second wife, JoAnn Carey Reynolds, who passed away on May 6, 2025; and granddaughter, Debbie.

He is survived by his sister, Ethel Ryan; sister-in-law, Bernetia Reynolds; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Keith is also survived by his stepchildren, Lois Dawson, Bruce Carey, Linda Steentra, and Pam Goddard; grandchildren, Mark Dawson, Amy Dawson, and Gail Dawson; great-grandchildren, Katie and Phillip Hoisington; and many beloved great-great-grandchildren.

Keith married Emma Merrifield in 1992, and they shared many happy years together until her passing in 2010. In 2018, he married JoAnn Carey Reynolds. Keith lovingly cared for JoAnn throughout her later years and remained devoted to her until her passing on May 6, 2025.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Keith enjoyed gardening, spending time on his tractor plowing snow during the winter months and growing giant pumpkins for the grandchildren each fall. He especially loved taking drives to Ludington with JoAnn, creating many cherished memories along the way.

Keith will be remembered for his gentle nature, strong work ethic, and the love he showed to his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Forever loved, forever remembered.

Memorial contributions may be made in Keith’s name to Corewell Health Hospice.

The family will greet friends 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 26 at The Woods Stanwood Free Methodist Church until the time of the funeral at 12:00 p.m. Officiating, Pastor Jim Williams. Interment Stanwood Cemetery.
