Kathy R. Woudwyk

Kathy Rae Woudwyk age 69 died unexpectedly Monday, February 2, 2026 at Corewell Health Meijer Heart Center. She was born on September 7, 1956 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Clifford and Loretta (Jewitt) Elliott. Kathy worked in payroll for 47 years at Butterworth Hospital. She enjoyed traveling with friends and having monthly game nights. Kathy was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She never missed a sporting event or band concert. She had a strong faith in the Lord. Kathy will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her children, Amy (Ryan) Matteson, Bill Woudwyk; grandchildren, Trey and Gavin Lewis, Aubrey, Aiden, Ethan, Nate, Gabe and Autumn Woudwyk; great-grandson, Bodey and one more on the way; siblings, Bruce (Connie) Elliott, Diane Elliott; several nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, William; parents; brother, Bob Elliott; mother and father-in-law, Tony and Alice Woudwyk.

A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. at Courtland Township Hall on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
