Kathleen J. (Datema) McClurken

Kathleen Joyce (Datema) McClurken age 88 of Sand Lake, died Monday, April 27, 2026 at her home. She was born August 22, 1937 in Holland, MI the daughter of the late Arnold and Catherine (Dykens) Datema. Kathleen worked at Baker Furniture for ten years. She had a passion for music and enjoyed listening to big band and country music. Kathleen loved hummingbirds, animals and her dog Bisquet. She is survived by her daughter, Sonjia (Datema) Hennings, stepchildren, W. Terry McClurken, Beth (Al) Fisk, Steve (Diana) McClurken; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Douglas McClurken; stepdaughter, Bonnie Vining; siblings, Robert Datema, Arnold Datema, Margery (Kenneth) Host.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, May 9 from 3:00-5:00 p.m., at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Interment Sand Lake Cemetery.
