Justin E. Miller, a cherished and free-spirited young man known affectionately as "jaybird," passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Cedar Springs, Michigan. Born on October 26, 2004, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, Justin was a kind soul who followed his own unique path in life, touching the hearts of those around him with his kindness, creativity, and love for the world.

A graduate of Cedar Springs High School, Class of 2023, He possessed a natural talent for writing and playing music, often expressing his thoughts and emotions through this creative outlet. His love for reading and appreciation for the beauty of nature further revealed his sensitive and thoughtful character.

He is lovingly survived by his parents, John and Debra (Pietkiewicz) Miller. He shared a special bond with his twin brother, Nathan Miller; brother, Brian (Jennifer) Fey; sister, Katie (Peter) Chirayil; three nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and great grandparents.

Memorial visitation to be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Brady Gill Funeral Home, 16600 Oak Park Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477 from 9:00am to 11:00am.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am, St. George Catholic Church, Tinley Park, IL.

Local arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) or the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
