June (Klooster) Heeringa

June J. (Klooster) Heeringa age 93 of Cedar Springs, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at her granddaughter’s home in Newaygo. Mrs. Herringa was born September 10, 1924 in Fremont, MI the daughter of Benjamin and Hattie (Luchies) Timmer. She grew up in Fremont and was a charter member of Pioneer Christian Reformed Church, Cedar Springs. She enjoyed traveling. Surviving are her children, Linda (Jack) Mulder, Rick (Mary) Klooster, Bob Klooster, Michelle Klooster; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl Klooster in 1982 and Gilbert Heeringa; daughter, Mary Beth Opper in 2000; 2 brothers. The family will greet friends Wednesday from 2:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Chaplain Daniel Pflug officiating. Private interment Maple Grove Cemetery, Fremont.
