June M. Doren, 94 of Cedar Springs went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 8, 2016 with her family by her side. June was born April 10, 1921 in Steubenville, Ohio the daughter of Walter and Harriet (Bruggema) Moul. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Cedar Springs where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and worked with the Youth. She sang duets through the years with her husband in evangelistic and church meetings. June was a great hostess and enjoyed entertaining, anyone who came through her door always had a seat at her table. She was a mother to five children and to several foster children in her home. In years past she was a midwife, and a cook at Blythefield Country Club and Comstock Park Schools. Surviving are her devoted husband of 77 years, Mark; children, Sharon (LaVerne) Schut, Dennis Doren, Debra Ergang; 14 loving grandchildren; many adored great and great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Doren; son-in-law, James (Rose) Hunt; sister, Lois (Jay) DeBoer; sister-in-law, Lois Moul; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlyn Hunt; son, Mark N. Doren; sisters, Beverly (Willis) Hasty, Shirley (Wm) Doren, Harriet (Ray) Gress; brothers, Walter Moul, Leonard Moul. The family will greet friends Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Friday 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church, 233 N. Main St. Cedar Springs. Pastors Dan Currie and Tom Dolph officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Alpine Township.
