Julia L. Pyne

Julia L. Pyne age 83 of Rockford, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Corewell Health Butterworth Campus. She was born April 27, 1940 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Merlyn and Della (Osborne) Holden. She owned and operated Lil Peoples Daycare in Rockford for over 40 years and raised half of Rockford. She enjoyed music, camping and sewing. Surviving are her children, Scott (Tina) Pyne, Lynnette Pyne, Jamie (Michelle) Pyne; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Carole Christensen, Ruth Plambeck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; daughter, Lisa Bennett; grandson, Chase Bennett; great grandchildren, Cheyanne and Isaiah. The family will greet friends Friday, June 2 from 1:00 – 1:45 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. A graveside service will take place at Rockford Cemetery at 2:15 pm. Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
