Joyce B. Calhoun

Joyce Barbara Calhoun age 79 of Gowen, MI died Monday, August 19, 2019 at Green Acres of Cedar Springs. Joyce was born November 15, 1939 in Cass City, MI the daughter of Frank and Betty (Salisbury) Puskas. Joyce was a great cook making everything from scratch, a great crafter, sewer and enjoyed yard work and flower gardening. Surviving are her husband, William D. Calhoun; children, Randy (Suzie) Bowron, Richard (fiancé Sandra Liogas) Bowron; stepchildren, Bob (Tracy) Calhoun, Larry (Shawn) Calhoun, Sherry Westra, Karen (Mike) Hoogerhyde, Barb (Don) Bowen; 21 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; siblings, David Puskus, Don (Lori) Puskus, Dottie (Terry) Kempffer, Dennis (Brenda) Puskus; brother-in-law, Bob (Diane) Calhoun; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Skip) Rogers; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Bowron; parents; brother, Calvin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George (Irena) Calhoun; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beverly (Lynn) Wagner; son-in-law, Daniel Westra. The family will receive friends Friday, August 23 from 11:00 am until time of service at noon at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Rev. Wayne Bullock officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
