Joseph D. Brinkman

Joseph D. Brinkman, 68 of Sand Lake died Monday, February 11, 2008. Mr. Brinkman was born May 17, 1939 in Detroit, MI the son of Joseph and Lillian (Seevers) Brinkman. He retired from the City of Grand Rapids Water Department where he worked for 30 years. He delivered pizza for many years. Surviving are 3 children, Carrie Brinkman, Tracy (Damion) Brinkman, Joseph Brinkman, Jr., 2 stepchildren, Victoria (Carl) Kelley, Teresa (Hugo) Cano; 10 grandchildren, Ashley, Robert, Carla, Haleigh, Dominic, Hugo, Joy, Rickael, Lydia, Kaitlyn; 1 sister-in-law, Shirley Brinkman; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Robert. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:30 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Interment Blythefield Memory Gardens, Belmont.
