John David Twiss

John D. Twiss, 75 of the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans died Thursday, August 24, 2006 in Grand Rapids. Mr. Twiss was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a self-employed painter. Surviving are five children. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 28, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Chapel. Visitation will be held before the service beginning at 1:00 pm. Rev. Fr. Ernest Bernott celebrant. Military honors will be conducted by the Kent County Honor Guard. Interment in the Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
