John A. Norton Sr.

John A. Norton Sr. age 79 of Rockford, MI died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at his son’s home. John was born May 22, 1942 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Walter and Erma (Stibitz) Norton. He loved sports and watching his children and grandchildren at their sporting events. He enjoyed spending time with his family and seeing his great grandchildren. Surviving are his children, Bob (Donna) Norton, John (Toni) Norton, Randy (Annette) Norton, Joel (Leah) Norton, Kelly (John) Wright; 25 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; brother, Walter (Janice) Norton; sisters, Arvella Palmer and Betty Lane; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruthann; and 8 brothers and sisters. A memorial service and luncheon will be held Saturday, December 11 at 12:00 pm at the Pierson Bible Church Community Room. Pastor Chris Weeks officiating.
