John Arnold Bunker age 77, died Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at his home in Kentwood. He was born September 4, 1947 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Norman and Edith (Rocholl) Bunker. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. John worked at Pridgeon & Clay for 35 years. After retirement he worked for the VanAndel Arena for 25 years and Whitecaps Baseball for 15 years. The patrons in his sections became like family to him. Surviving are his sisters, Connie Ridout, and Judy Betts; godson, Kyle Verlin; several nieces and nephews. His “special family”, Danny (Carole) Verlin, Bo Verlin, Kyle (Katie) Verlin, Aubrey (Mario) Pritchard. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barb McPherson. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Leisure Village Club House in Belmont. Arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
