Joe J. Gould

Joe J. Gould age 81 of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at home. Joe was born July 27, 1938 the son of Glenn and Lida “Marion” (Starn) Gould. He grew up on the farm just east of Sand Lake. He retired from Michigan Plating after 33 years where he was a welder. Surviving are his wife, Lena (Breukink); daughter, Deb (Aaron) Hentschel. He was one of ten children, surviving are Glenice (Ken) VanLoozenard, Art (Linda) Gould, Judy (Jerry) Troupe, Sim (Patsy) Gould, Guy (Marilyn) Gould and sister-in-law, Betty Gould. He was preceded in death by a son, baby James; sister, Audrey (Edward) Anderson; brothers, Charles Gould, Ed (Marion) Gould, Wayne (Crystal) Gould. The family will greet friends Sunday 3-5 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where services will be held Monday 11:00 am. Rev. Darryl Miller from Sand Lake United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment Sand Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to DaVita Dialysis.
