Jodi A. Helms

Jodi A. Helms, 47 of Pierson, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at her home. Jodi was born June 12, 1963 in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba the daughter of Roger and Carol (Parsons) Conklin. She was a 1981 graduate of Tri-County High School and was the manager at Subway in Big Rapids. She was a hard working and loving mother who lived for her girls. She will be missed dearly. Surviving are two daughters, Amy and Katie both of Pierson; mother, Carol Conklin of Traverse City; brother, Scott Conklin of Jackson; sister, Lisa (Mark) Bergman of Sand Lake; several nieces and nephews; special loving friend, Charlie Fouty; former husband, Jerald Helms. She was preceded in death by her father. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Saturday 11:00 am. Pastor Joel Cooper officiating. Interment Pierson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a fund for her daughters.
