JoAnn A. Haas (VandenBos), age 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, March 14, 2015. JoAnn was born on February 4, 1931 in Kalamazoo, MI, the youngest of eight children. As a pastor's wife, she touched countless lives in over 40 years of ministry. For many years, she also worked as a volunteer at Kent Community Hospital as well as on the Board of the American Decency Association. She was dedicated to her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, and served Him faithfully throughout her life. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Anna (Bouwhuis) VandenBos, five sisters, one brother, a grandson, and a great-grandson. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, LaVern Haas; children, Linda (Jim) Clark, Barb (Bill) Willink, Carol (Greg) Scott, Mary (Bruce) DenBesten, Jeanne (Rick) Nagy; 31 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother, John VandenBos. The family will greet friends Wednesday from 9:30 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Little Farms Chapel, 2518 Arthur St. Coopersville. Pastor Robert VanManen officiating. Interment Mt.
