Joan E. (Frueh) Perry

Joan E. (Frueh) Perry, 77 of Cedar Springs, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Joan was born January 2, 1937 in East Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of George and Thelma (Langworthy) Griffin. Her family was her life and she especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are her children, James (Beverly) Frueh, John (Sandy) Frueh, Linda (Daniel) Smith, Barb (Don) Marsh, Marcia (Timothy) Harris; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lillian Griffin. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lyle Griffin. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 6 from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be held Friday, March 7 at 11:00 at North Park Baptist Church 3365 Coit Avenue, Grand Rapids. The family will greet friends at 10:00am. Pastors Michael Breznau and Thomas Rohrer officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to Metron of Cedar Springs Activity Fund.
