Jerry F. Schipper

Jerry Frederick Schipper age 69 of Cedar Springs, MI died July 14, 2021 at Compassion of Newaygo County. Jerry was born May 7, 1952 in Grand Rapids the son of John and Betty Jane (DeYoung) Schipper. He was a fireman for 38 years at the Solon and Spencer Township Fire Departments. Surviving are his brother, Jack (Mary Ellen) Schipper; special friends, Megan (Adam) Stafford-Rosenberger; special grandchildren, Maddlynn and Rylee Stafford; nieces and nephews, Janie (Bob) Tice, Amy Jo (Rick) Glass, Tammy Jo Schipper, Jason Schipper, Andrew (Edita) Schipper, Justin (Jenni) Schipper, Jodi Schipper, Matt Gowen. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jeane Gowen. A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, July 24 at Hillcrest Community Church of God, 5994 18 Mile Rd. NE.
