Jeffrey Lee Schmoldt

Jeffrey Lee Schmoldt age 59 of Sand Lake died Monday, February 20, 2023 at Corewell Health-Butterworth. He was born on August 11, 1963 in Newport News, Virginia the son of Carlton and Carol (DeShazo) Schmoldt. Jeff worked at Radio Shack for years in management. He did tattoos on the side and then decided to open his own tattoo shop in North Port Florida. Jeff has a book published and multiple poems and short stories. He was very artistic, loved music, playing the guitar, and riding motorcycles. He had a very big heart and enjoyed the beach and Venice, Florida. Surviving are his father, Carl; mother, Carol Kirby; siblings, Christine Sullivan, Tammy Balser, Marie Dumlao, Sandra Mesler, Kathleen Castro; children, Holly, Daniel, Heather, Eric, Devyn, Mikayla, and Evelynn; 3 grandchildren with one on the way. It was Jeff’s wish to be cremated and services will be held at later date.
