Jeanice A. Covell

Jeanice A. Covell, 92 of Cedar Springs, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Covell was born March 9, 1916 in Cedar Springs, MI the daughter of Delbert and Hattie (Morey) Morehouse. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1982 and a daughter, Jeannie Cronk in 2001. Surviving are six children and their spouses, Leon (Avis) Covell of Cedar Springs, Roy (Marge) Covell of Cedar Springs, Clyde (Peggy) Covell of Ionia, Mack Covell of Sand Lake, Keith (Sheri) Covell of Grand Rapids, Judy (Leon) Lang of Cedar Springs; one son-in-law, George Cronk of Indiana; 14 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Richard (Joan) Covell. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Doug DiBell officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and Hospice of Michigan.
