Jeanette R. Mcdonough

Jeanette R. McDonough, 92 of Pierson, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Fulton Manor, Grand Rapids. Mrs. McDonough was born December 13, 1913 in Grand Rapids, MI. She was a member of Mary Queen of Apostles in Sand Lake, the Sand Lake Garden Club, and a lifetime member of the Federated Garden Club of Michigan. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mary (Herman) Veldkamp of Jenison, Barbara Workman of Pierson, Dorothy (Lawrence) Robison of Newaygo; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Irene Boelma of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands, Kenneth Hansma and Howard McDonough; 1 grandson, Kenneth Veldkamp; 1 son-in-law, Gordon Workman; 1 sister, Connie Arnold; 2 brothers, Anthony and Leonard Luyk. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 pm until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm at Mary Queen of Apostles Church. Rev. Fr. Joseph W. Kenshol celebrant. Interment will follow in Pierson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice or charity of donor’s choice. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
