Jason D. Proper

Jason D. Proper age 41 of Lowell died Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Jason was born August 1, 1981 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Dale and Jennifer (Cooley) Proper. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and everything outdoors. He loved his family. Surviving are his children, Gavin Proper, Jayvin Proper; mother of his children and lifelong friend, Crystal Patterson; father, Dale Proper; siblings, Michael (Karen) Proper, Suzette (Scott) Ware, Gidget Simmons, Dawn (Eric) Shaffer; grandmother, Patricia Proper; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer Proper. The family will greet friends Thursday, February 2 from 12:00 pm until time of service at 1:00 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses. A luncheon will follow the service at the American Legion, 121 S. Broas St., Belding, MI 48809.
