Janet L. Stanton

Janet L. Stanton age 68 of Cedar Springs, passed away, Friday, May 24, 2019 at her home. Janet was born February 18, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Robert and Grayce (Smith) Stanton Sr. Janet enjoyed gardening, her flowers, was a great cook, and always there to help others. She had a gracious heart. She had a great love for God and her kids and grandkids. In her early adventures before motherhood, she ruled the 60’s as a hippie. Surviving are her children, Jason Stanton, Jessica Stanton & William Bulkowski, Joseph Stanton & Amy Calvert, Laura Kool; extended daughter, Kellie Garvin; grandchildren, Monica, Alanna, Madison, Emma, Bella, Arianna, Mylee, Tarren; two great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Shirlee Kamstra, Bonnie (Mike) Thomas, Robert (Misti) Stanton Jr., Theresa (Mark) Freiberg, Michael (Debbie) Stanton Sr., Patrick Stanton Sr. & Marisol Valdez, Timothy Stanton, Coleen (Francisco) Rivera, Brian Stanton & Roxanne Cebelak, Jennifer (Barry) Campbell; numerous nieces and nephews; uncle, Willard (Carolyn) Smith; and all her friends at White Creek Country Estates The family will greet friends Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the service will be held Thursday 11:00 am. Pastors Keith & Judy Hemmila officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossfire Ministries.
