James F. Nielsen

James F. Nielsen age 76 of Howard City, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at his home. Jim was born February 8, 1943 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of William and Clio (Clark) Nielsen. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, morel mushrooms, riding his motorcycle and his dogs. He loved picking on people and being a prankster. Jim worked hard for his family and loved them dearly. Surviving are his wife, Sharon (Farrel) whom he married on March 28, 1964; daughter, Heidi (Bruce) Denuyl; grandchildren, Chad, Randy, Mikaela, Jordon, Trevor, Emma, Justine, Trent and Garrett; sister, Cecelia Nystrom. He was preceded in death by children, Heather Lynn and Christopher James; grandson, Owen Miswick. The family will greet friends Thursday, July 25 from 11:30 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Grace Community Church, 9920 Reed Road, Howard City. Pastor Jorge Ballivian officiating.
