James A. Meredith

James A. Meredith age 68 of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, December 13, 2018 at his home. Jim was born October 4, 1950 in Lansing, MI the son of Harold and Marcelle (Jacobs) Meredith. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He worked for U-Haul for 35 years. He was an avid golfer and motorcyclist and loved traveling with his wife. Surviving are his wife, Julia; children, Jason (Erin) Meredith, Amanda (Ben) Wilson, Kathryn (Matthew) Lovelace; mother, Marcelle Meredith; sister, Michele MacNab; grandchildren, Jacob, Lindsey, Ryan, Anna, Kathryn, Benjamin and Edward. The family will have a celebration of his life on Sunday from 2-4 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Friends of the Michigan Veterans Home, P.O. Box 805, Grandville, MI 49418.
