James Mead

James H. Mead age 93 of Cedar Springs passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was born February 7, 1931 in Walkerville, MI the son of Henry and Hazel (Milner) Mead. James and his wife Henrietta lived in the Hart/Silver Lake area on a farm where they raised fruit, beef and their four children. He is survived by his children, Jerry Mead, Joanie (Walt) Gashaw, and Jay (Karen) Mead; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Henrietta; son, Jack; and siblings. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral, Cedar Springs.
