James Doyle

James “Rex” Doyle, 62 of Cedar Springs, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Rex was born October 6, 1945 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Robert and Naoma (Lovett) Doyle. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Grand Rapids Public Schools Supply Building for 30 years. Surviving are his wife Sandra; 1 son, David Shaw of Grand Rapids; 3 stepsons, Mark Perez of Florida, Al (Laurie) Perez of Cedar Springs, Steve Perez of Cedar Springs; several grandchildren; 5 brothers, Robert Doyle, David (Paula) Doyle, Philip (Renee) Doyle, Joseph Doyle, Doug (Ann) Doyle; 1 sister, Dorothy (Edward) Mienko; many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
