Jacqueline Rae Gillow 81, of Cedar Springs died peacefully at home, Sunday, June 12, 2011 after a brief illness. Her “girl gang” made up of sister Phyllis Fuller, daughter Kim Gillow and Mary Balon were at her side. Jackie was an elementary school teacher and lifelong resident of Milford, MI. She moved to Cedar Springs three years ago and became an active member of the Cedar Springs Women’s Club and Friends of the Library. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jack and sister Shirley Reid. Other survivors include a nephew Bill (Beth) Fuller in TX, a son in Oregon and many friends-old and new. Per her request cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned. A visitation will be held Saturday 2-4 pm at Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cedar Springs Library would honor Jackie’s commitment to education.
