Jacob Stults

Jacob Stults age 84 of Grant died Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Mission Point of Big Rapids. He was born October 9, 1938 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Albert and Ruth (Croff) Stults. He had worked at Kent Disposal, C. Bell Automotive, Dohler-Jarvis and had owned and operated his own lawn care business. He loved the outdoors, gardening and mowing lawn. He had been a member of Community PACE in Newaygo since 2017. Surviving are his children, Cynthia Batchelor, Cheryl (Greg) Fisk, June (Eugene) Rector, Tim Stults, Jacob (Cassie) Stults; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; sister, Donna (Dennis) Carey-Stein. He was preceded in death by parents, Albert (Eva) Stults, Lewis (Ruth) Knestrick; son, James Stults; granddaughter, Emma Jean Rector; siblings, Jimmie, Donald and Ronald Stults, Bonnie Sloan. The family will greet friends Friday, October 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 29 at 3:00 pm at Grant Wesleyan Church, 688 W. 112th St, Grant. Pastor Jeff O’Vell officiating. Private interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs.
