Jackie I. Wieda

Jackie Irene Wieda, 61, of Kent City, MI, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Butterworth Hospital, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Jackie was born on January 6, 1965, in Grand Rapids, MI, to William and Glenna Larson. She grew up in Sparta and spent her life loving her family, crafting, gift-giving, cooking, baking, and making special moments for her favorite people.

Jackie was known for her deep love for her family. She always had an open door at her home, a kind word to share, and had a way to make you smile when you needed it most. She always worked tirelessly to make special moments for the people around her. Above all, she treasured her family and found great joy in the simplest of family times with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Jackie was a devoted follower of Christ and found great comfort and hope in her faith. She was a longtime member of Kent City Baptist Church.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Ken Wieda; her children, Kenny (Jacey) Wieda, Elizabeth Wieda, Matthew Wieda; her grandchildren Joshua, Benjamin, Abigail, Hannah Wieda; and her siblings, Bill (Rhonda) Larson, Cindy (Gary) Funk, Dale Larson, Terri Dahlman, Jimmy Larson; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Glenna Larson; and her siblings, Tim Larson and Tom Larson.

Those who knew Jackie will remember her for her intentional love, generosity, and quick kindness.

The family will greet friends 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 1 at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs with the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Trevor Miller officiating.

Jackie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
