Jackie Lee Johnson, Sr. 64 of Cedar Springs, died Monday, January 29, 2007 at home. Jackie was born May 26, 1942 in Grand Haven, MI the son of Clifford and Marion (Ellcey) Johnson. Surviving are 5 children, Jackie Lee & Yvette Johnson, Jr, Christina & Larry Housler, Douglas & Shari Johnson, Teresa Johnson & Matt, Keith Johnson & Shawn Moore; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 1 brother, Robert Johnson; 3 sisters, Judith Praay, Elaine Teets, Linda & Tony Batenburg; 1 brother-in-law, James Koster; former wife, JoAnn Johnson; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Charles and LaVerne; 3 sisters, Myrtle Mead, Shirley Koster, and Avis Johnson. The family will greet friends Thursday from 5-7 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm. Interment Hilton Cemetery, Casnovia in the spring.
