Jack B. Langland

Jack B. Langland age 81 of Cedar Springs went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at his son’s home. Jack was born February 17, 1939 in East Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Jack and Mary (Yelton) Langland. He enjoyed doing archery, the outdoors, golfing and camping. He still enjoyed golfing last summer. Surviving are his children, Tom (Donna) Langland, Cathy Hoven; grandchildren, Steven Langland, Christopher Hoven, Anna Hoven; sister, Susan (George) Koster; in laws, Wilfred, Albert, Raymond Laaksonen, Irene Soderblom, Elma Benedick, Delores Augustson; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma “Val”; brother, David Langland; in laws, Edward Laaksonen and Bertha Danneberg. The family will greet friends 10 am Saturday, March 7 at the Rockford Springs Community Church, 5815 14 Mile Road, Rockford where the service will be held at 11:00 am.
