Jack Lynn Andrus

Jack Lynn Andrus 77 of Sand Lake, passed away peacefully Friday, July 20, 2007 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Jack was born December 30, 1929 in Greenville, MI the son of Raymond Lynn and Lela (Sipple) Andrus. He grew up in Nelson Township and enjoyed farming and many outdoor activities. He had owned and operated the Jack Andrus Oil Company. Jack will be missed and will remain in our memories as a genuinely good person who touched many lives. He truly enjoyed retirement, traveling, and his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Ruth (Beach); 2 daughters, Gail & Gary Hendges, Faith Andrus and husband, Manny; 2 granddaughters, Katie and Jennie Hendges; 1 brother, Fred & Lois Andrus; 2 brothers-in-law, Thomas & Leona Beach, Alan & Joan Beach; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitterspike.com where services will be held Monday 11:00 am. Pastor Herb Vander Bilt officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to East Nelson United Methodist Church or Cedar Springs Historical Society.
