Isaac David Roebuck

July 10, 2001 — January 10, 2020

Isaac David Roebuck, age 18, unexpectedly entered the love and presence of Jesus Christ on Friday, January 10, 2020. Isaac was an active Boy Scout and graduated from Creative Technologies Academy in Cedar Springs in 2019. He entered Kettering University in Flint in the fall of 2019, where he studied engineering. Isaac had a passion for the field of engineering and worked as a programmer at CD Tool and Gage in Walker during high school and in college. He was extremely intelligent, continually studying and questioning the process of how things worked. He was a lover of Ford cars and spending time with his dog Henry. Isaac was dedicated and a hard worker, excelling at everything he put his mind to, and continually challenging himself. He was deeply loved by his nieces and nephews, always finding a way to make them smile. He lived up to the meaning of his name, which is “son of laughter”. His deep booming laugh came easily and often, and is one of his trademarks that his family will truly miss. Isaac is survived by his parents, Billie and Laurie Roebuck; siblings, Justin (Laura) Roebuck, Lindsey (Josh) Victorson and Chris (Ashley Lobe) Roebuck; and his nieces and nephews, Kaelyn, Sarah, Grant and Michael. A celebration of Isaac’s life will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 16 at City Church Rockford, 3233 10 Mile Rd. NE, Rockford, MI. A luncheon reception will follow.
