Inez I. Towns

Inez I. Towns, 88 of the Cedar Springs and Sand Lake area died Monday, January 31, 2011 at Meadowlark Retirement Village, Sparta. Mrs. Towns was born January 16, 1923 in Sand Lake, MI the daughter of Fayette and Fern (Gill) Vangilder. She was liked by everyone and was ma and granny to many. Surviving are her children, Roger Towns of Grand Rapids, Judy Robinson of Kent City, Janet (Sperry) Blossom of Cedar Springs, Mary (Don) Charron of Baldwin, Paul (Sarah) Towns of Elgin, S.C., Patsy (Eric) Pierson of Cedar Springs; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willis in 2000; son, Tommy; grandson, Brian and 1 sister. The family will greet friends Sunday from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.Interment Sand Lake Cemetery.
