Helen M. Myers

Helen M. Myers, 88 of Cedar Springs, formerly of Kalamazoo, died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Metron of Cedar Springs. Mrs. Myers was born December 21, 1919 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Myrl and Kittie (Martin) Hall. She had worked at Bronson Hospital in the laundry department. She liked to search her family tree, read, go to stamp shows and collect stamps, and camp in their bus. Surviving are 3 children, Robert & Gale Johnson of Marquette, Rosalind & Ed McIntyre of Cedar Springs, Helen & Roger Schievelbein of Texas; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Betty Moler of Kalamazoo; brother, Edgar Hall of Kalamazoo. She was preceded in death by husbands, John LeRoy Johnson and Harvey Myers, sister, Glenneva Jewell. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Thursday 10:00 am. Pastor Mary Ivanov officiating. Interment Grand Prairie Cemetery, Kalamazoo Township.
