Gwendolin H. Davis

Gwendolin H. Davis, 94 of Cedar Springs, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Mrs. Davis was born September 21, 1915 in Cedar Springs, MI the daughter of Elvin and Bessie (Armstrong) McDonald. She was a lifelong resident of the Cedar Springs area and a longtime member of the Cedar Springs Women’s Club. Surviving are her son, Daniel Davis of Cedar Springs; sister, Beatrice Hanson of Cedar Springs, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Murray Davis in 1989. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The funeral service will be held Thursday 1:00 pm at the United Methodist Church, Cedar Springs. Pastor Mary Ivanov officiating. Interment Courtland Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
