Grant Hanes

Grant Hanes age 91 of Ensley Township, Sand Lake passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at his home. Grant was born January 5, 1930 in Muskegon, MI the son of Ardy and Edith (Atwood) Hanes. He served his country, the U.S.A. in the Korean War. After his combat, he worked at Kelvinator for more than 40 years. He and his wife Pride Hanes had 5 children, 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving, beautiful wife, Pride; daughter, Michelle and sons, Michael and Mitchell Hanes. Surviving are his sons, Mark (Kris) Hanes and Kevin Hanes; brother, Jack (Shirley) Hanes; sister, Edith (Jim) Kloe. Private family services will be held with burial at Crandall Cemetery, Ensley Township. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. And now I bid onto all Farwell! I go to rest in the Paradise of God until my spirit and body shall again reunite and I am brought forth triumphant through the air to meet you before the pleasing bar of the Great Jehovah.
