Glen Donmyer, 85 passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 in Reed City. Mr. Donmyer was born June 1, 1929 in Salina, Kansas the son of Glen and Alice (Jacobs) Donmyer. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was a locomotive engineer for 37 years for Penn Central/Conrail, a job he loved every day. He was a lifetime member of the DAV, American Legion, AmVets, Eagles and the Sparta Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his loving wife of 66 years, Lois; children, Suzanne (Dennis) Wilson, Sandra Rickaby (Tim), Kenneth (Liz) Donmyer, Sharon (Jim) Kaiser, Donna (Larry) VanAntwerp, Ronald (Brenda) Donmyer; special granddaughter, Tina VanAntwerp; 50 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. The family will greet friends Monday from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
