Gertrude Hunter

Gertrude Hunter, aged 90, of Cedar Springs, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2005. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond; brothers, Chuck and John Veltkamp; sisters, Sena Green and Henrietta McLang. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Ramon L. Hunter; two daughters, Helen Lebeck of Six Lakes and Mary Jean Rowland of Sparta; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchldren; two brothers, Dick Veltkamp of Cedar Springs, Alvin (Ivy) Veltkamp of Sparta; two sisters, Altia Pap of Grand Rapids and Hatie White of Sparta; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Duaine Reichelt officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood cemetery. Memorial contributions to the American Heart Associaton have been suggested. Visitation Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
