Geraldine H. Kist

Geraldine H. Kist age 93 of Pierson, died Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Corewell Health – Butterworth Campus. She was born February 3, 1933 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of John and Pearl (Jones) VanDyke. She enjoyed nature, going on long walks with her family and dogs, and going to the cottage. She loved deer hunting, fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, playing cards, going to the casino and meeting new people. Surviving are her family whom she loved very much, daughters, Susan (Joe) Benedict, Shelly Kist; seven grandsons, Jake (Amy) Benedict, Jesse Benedict, Cody (Elizabeth) Pike, Casey (Emily) Pike, James (Jessica) Streeter, Mike Streeter, Ty Robinson; 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; daughter, Sandra (Darryl) Pike; sister, Lilian; brothers, Ronald and Kenneth. Geraldine had a big heart and was very grateful for the life she had. She was always happy and had a smile on her face and made us laugh. We will all miss her very much, she will always be on our hearts. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration will held at a later date. Arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
